Indoor Heated Swimming Pool
Our indoor heated pool provides the perfect place to relax and unwind following a busy day Island hopping.
13m x 3m, beach towels provided. The pool also has a newly refurbished sun deck area just outside, alongside the pool with lounge style furniture allowing you to soak up the sun whilst enjoying the pool.
Tennis Court
The tennis court is located a short stroll away and rackets and balls are available from reception.
Golf
The most south westerly golf course in England, its beauty is unique and must be seen if visiting St Mary’s.
It is open all year round, to members and non-members for golf. It has a welcoming clubhouse serving refreshing drinks, and a large balcony to take in some of the best panoramic views of the Islands. As guests of Star Castle Hotel you receive complimentary use of the course, subject to availability.
Boating
Boating is a big part of island life. Rafe the Boatman will pop and see you at breakfast everyday (April – October) to help plan your day on the water aboard the Calypso II.
St Marys Boatmen’s Association offers daily trips to the off-islands. Plan your day over breakfast, which island will it be?
Horse Riding
St Mary’s Riding Centre is located just a few minutes from Pelistry Beach, a 30 minute stroll from the hotel.

Dogs Are Welcome
The Star Castle welcomes dogs and provides a dog pack including bowls and towels. A charge of £15.00 per dog per night is applicable.
